Home Preschool

I've started home preschool for Tori and she LOVES it! I'm hoping that she'll go to Mt. Hermon in the Fall but for now, she doesn't want to. I'm afraid she gets that from me. I hated preschool... yes, I still remember it. Mom didn't make me continue and I've always been grateful for that fact. Tori loves learning though and since she's such a logical child she gave me some well thought out arguments about why she didn't want to go. She did say she wanted to do school at home though. So, right now she is watching Word World (great PBS cartoon). We get the word or letter of the day from that show and then I plan our lesson around it. She really enjoys finger painting the letters and numbers. I'm also trying to take advantage of all the learning opportunities throughout the day. Oh, she just learned the letter S. Time to start school.
