How important is a paci
Both of my little munchkins have been addicted to their pacifiers. Check out Siah's distress when he couldn't find it and his happy dance when it was located. The kids usually get their energy out before bed by wrestling or dancing in the livingroom. This was an extended time since Auntie Shelley was here to enjoy it.

Felton Parade
Tori (and the whole family including Auntie Shelley) were in the Felton Parade with Playschool. Tori LOVED riding her bike and collecting candy. Jeff and Shelley handed out balloons along the way while I pushed Siah in the stoller. He enjoyed checking everything out from his chariot.

Answer: Dishes
Question: What makes this little girl so excited that she can't fall asleep during nap time?
A few days ago, we had a little picnic lunch which resulted in two happy kids covered in peanut butter and jelly. PB &J was also all over their non-dishwasher safe tea party dishes. Not enjoying the that fact that I'd have to clean the tiny little dishes, I came up with a brilliant idea (I know, that's not very humble but really, it was brilliant). I told Tori, in a very excited voice, "Guess what? After nap time, you can---- WASH DISHES!" She squeaked with joy. Ah, I love making both of us happy. Jeff is wondering if it's a little disfunctional that I'm getting her excited about cleaning... but as I said before, I think it's pure brilliance.

First Veggies
These are the radishes that Tori grew. Aren't they cute! She had fun planting pink, white and purple ones. It's great to watch them grow and harvesting them makes her very happy... me too. It's fun to watch something grow. God's been teaching me a lot of lessons about gardening and how it applies to our lives. I should blog about that soon...

Rock Throwing
What could be better than a sunny day at the river throwing rocks with your Papa? You should have seen how many rocks this little guy threw. He tried to pick up some very BIG rocks. He's a machine.

Last Day of Playschool
On Tori's last day of playschool they had a little performance and a picnic. She did really well and had a lot of fun. We're so glad that she joined playschool... even if it was only for a month. We now know that she will be looking forward to it next fall.

New Kind of Party- Torism
As I'm calmly explaining to Tori that because she was throwing a fit... she lost the privilege of having a picnic dinner she tells me, "didn't you know that it was suppose to be a throwing a fit party? I like throwing a fit parties." Obviously we don't enjoying the same kind of party.

Relaxing Mother's Day????
My Mother-in-law (who is fabulous) gave me a Martha Stewart Crafting book. (She knows what I love to do.) Tori helped me unwrap it and she was just as excited as I to get new craft ideas. Thanks Becky. Can't wait to start some new crafts.
Me and my precious little ones. I look relaxed don't I? But really I'm saying, "can you see the roses in the picture? Tori, please keep the wand out of his face. Siah, stop trying to grab the wand. Everyone, look at the camera. Smile. OK, we're late for church... I've got Siah you get Tori. Hurry, let's go.)

Outside
The weather has been beautiful these last few days and we are taking advantage of it. We're outside every chance we get. Today I was chasing ladybugs with Tori- we need them to eat the aphids in our garden. She also helped me plant seeds while Josiah was busy looking for bugs and digging in the dirt. The smell of jasmine and orange blossoms are filling the yard. I love it!

sandwich
On the way home from preschool I asked Tori what she wanted for lunch. I thought she said a grilled cheese sandwich. To which I said, "great idea. Should we make one for Siah too?" She said, "no silly Mommy... he needs a boy cheese sandwich." Ahhh, I wasn't aware that it was called a GIRL cheese sandwich in her mind.
