The permit came through about a month ago and Jeff started breaking ground. Hard work chipping out the perfectly good concrete to add new regulation concrete.
Getting ready for concrete. He was told by the professionals that his worked looked professional. Good job Jeffy.

Concrete work

Framing- this is what Labor Day meant around our house. Jeff outside working on framing and me taking care of sick grumpy kids while being sick myself. It really was a labor day... not a vacation.

I was so tired of wash, rinse, repeat... you know the drill- make a meal, clean up from the meal, make another meal...repeat. Wash the laundry, put away the laundry, pick up the dirty laundry, repeat. Tell the kids to stop fighting, tell them to stop whining, tell them to stop fighting, repeat... that I practically begged Jeff to give me a job. I want to know that when I was done with that job it was going to be done and be lasting. So he instructed me on how to use the power drill and I went to work pre-drilling and screwing the hinges in. I was also required for some heavy lifting to help hang the very heavy doors.

My Jeff says, "That guy's ridiculous...ridiculously talented that guy."
